Connecting Google Drive to The Berean

What You Can Do

• Analyze files from Drive: Select documents directly from your Google Drive for analysis
• Save reports to Drive: Export PDF reports to a dedicated "Berean Reports" folder
• Access anywhere: View your reports from any device with Google Drive access

How to Connect

1. Step 1: Go to Dashboard

   Navigate to your Berean Dashboard and look for the Cloud Storage section.

2. Step 2: Click "Connect Google Drive"

   Click the Google Drive connect button. You'll be redirected to Google's sign-in page.

3. Step 3: Sign In & Authorize

   Sign in with your Google account and click "Allow" to grant The Berean permission to:

   • See your email address (for account linking)
   • Create, edit, and delete files that The Berean creates
   Privacy Note: The Berean only accesses files it creates (in the "Berean Reports" folder) and files you explicitly select for analysis. We cannot see or access your other Drive files.

4. Step 4: You're Connected!

   You'll be redirected back to The Berean. Your Google Drive is now connected and ready to use.

Saving Reports to Google Drive

1. Complete an analysis on any content
2. On the analysis results page, click "Save to Cloud"
3. Select "Google Drive" from the dropdown
4. Your report will be saved to: My Drive / Berean Reports / berean-analysis-[date].pdf

Analyzing Files from Google Drive

1. Go to the Dashboard and click "Analyze from Cloud"
2. Select Google Drive
3. Browse your files and select a document (PDF, DOCX, or TXT)
4. Click "Analyze" to begin the theological analysis

Disconnecting Google Drive

To disconnect your Google Drive:

1. Go to Dashboard > Cloud Storage
2. Click "Disconnect" next to Google Drive

You can also revoke access from your Google Account Permissions page.
